Vinr Socks
I started designing these socks on a long flight to Australia. I wanted something comforting (hello fear of flying + 26 hrs travel time). These socks are what began to flow off of my needles, and as the design grew and the concept to have the mirror image of the cables came into play - I began to think of my friends Sini and Jonna from Laine Magazine. A couple years ago, I never would have thought that I would be headed to the West coast to travel for 10 days with 2 women from another country that I had never met before! Those 10 days are ones I cherish, and I am just so grateful for the friendship that came from it. These socks make me think of them, and how they balance each other out. A pair that fits so well, but each so unique from the other. These socks are worked from the toe up and include a Fleegle heel. The top of the foot is worked from a chart.
